WHO AM I?

Hello there. It’s Etienne. I earned my Master’s degree at Sorbonne Université, Paris, in 2018 and completed my PhD in 2022 at La Rochelle University, France. Soon after graduating I joined Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution to work as a Postdoctoral Investigator. I am now working at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I joined the Brooks Lab as a Postdoctoral Associate.

My research interests primarily revolve around megafauna population dynamics, conservation biology, bayesian statistics, editing, teaching and exploring new ways of leveraging scarce data. Especially for marine megafauna. I already received two awards for my research in Statistical Ecology. Apart from that, I enjoy outdoor activities, playing soccer and cooking (oeuf course).

In this website, you will find my current CV, publications, some teaching material, my editing activities and some random blog posts.
